19 Jan Windermere Homes & Estates Welcomes Dean McGill to SD County Escrow
Dean McGill, a Native San Diegan, has over 25 years’ experience in the residential Title and Escrow business. He is an entrepreneur who owned and operated a multi-branch independent escrow company expanding to 3 offices and 23 employees over a 5 year period.
With revenues exceeding $2.4 million annually, $50 million in trust funds under management, and a reputation of high integrity, he was a target for an acquisition by a national title company. In 1995, he sold WestStar Escrow to Chicago Title Company and was brought on board as an Assistant Vice President. He assisted in setting the escrow standards for Chicago Title as they integrated their mass escrow acquisitions with their title operations. Over the next 11 years he managed 4 escrow offices and over 40 employees. Dean has been active in many organizations including the San Diego Escrow Association, and California Escrow Association.
Dean holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from National University and lives in Ball Park Village, Downtown, with his wife Ginny, daughter Kelly, and son Brian, both graduates of The University of Arizona. When not in the office you will probably find him on the tennis court, playing singles, doubles, or taking a lesson. A miniature poodle named Brut, and a Maltipoo named Frankie have run of the house.
Dean is very excited to be part of the Windermere Family.
