Bonnie Maloney was born, raised and educated in New York City. After 15 years in Manhattan’s fashion industry, she changed course and started her real estate career.  Working in the prestigious Chrysler Building home office of the Louis Dreyfus Corporation, Bonnie worked with a successful sales team, selling commercial real estate all over the world.  Demanding hours due to different time zones, and the New York City pace prepared her for the next move. San Diego’s North County became Bonnie’s home and with it, a new commitment of entering the residential real estate market.  At first she missed the excitement, diversity and energy of New York, but her San Diego residential real estate career provides all that and so much more.

“Now I have the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping people.  Selling homes to the right buyer; so my families can move on to the next phase of their lives is so thrilling and so very important to my clients, their families, their futures and to me”, says Maloney.

As a seller you want your real estate transaction to go smoothly. That means selling your home promptly, for the best price.  It means not having to worry because you know that Bonnie is working for you… negotiating for you… with your best interest at heart, she represents you.

Kendra Koed spent her first years of her real estate career balancing sales and property management in the San Luis Obispo area. Now a licensed San Diego real estate broker associate, with strong attention to detail and follow through, Kendra will give you a whole new view on what a Realtor® can do to make your real estate experience seamless.

Whether buying, selling or relocating, Romeo Suarez take the time to listen and understand your needs to find your dream home. Answering the high demand for bilingual services, Romeo is fluent in Spanish and helps our fastest-growing segment of the area’s real estate market.

Jean Beck Realtor®We are proud to announce Jean Beck has joined Windermere Homes & Estates. In November of 2000 she started her real estate career after a 13-year position as Director of Operations with a local consulting and training company.

At age 19 Jean purchased a home and by 22 acquired land for investment, four years later she borrowed equity from her home and purchased a duplex downtown San Diego. A few years later she exchanged up to a 4-plex and now after a series of 1031 exchange transactions I have moved my tax deferred assets into individual residential rental properties in the North County San Diego area. As an experienced investor, she is convinced that residential properties for retirement income and a balanced portfolio are perfect for the individual investor.

With practical business experience and people skills, her former occupations have been excellent preparation for transitioning into her Real Estate Career. In her first year of Real Estate Jean received the “Rookie of the Year” award with Top Number Transactions. The second year she became a member of the Presidents Circle with 7 Million in sales and for the next 3 of 4 years she earned Chairman’s Circle which ranks her in the top 3% of Real Estate network of agents nationwide. 2007 was a down trending year, to say the least, but her sales reached 8 million putting her back in the “Presidents Circle”. The “Presidents Circle” represents the top 5% of the Real Estate network of agents nationwide. In 2009 she received an Honor Society award. Year 2013, she achieved the companies # 1 agent award for individual sales.

“I am happy to be with Windermere Homes and Estates who have more than a dozen beautiful offices in San Diego and Temecula. I live in Pauma Valley with my husband who is retired from Northrop Corporation and is now an avocado and citrus farmer. We live in the Pauma Valley Country Club” says Jean Beck, realtor® Windermere Homes & Estates.

Taylor-unedited-2Windermere Homes & Estates proudly welcomes Taylor Crowell to their Del Mar office. Taylor Crowell grew up along San Diego’s North Coast, born and raised in the sunny seaside town of Del Mar. “Growing up in San Diego’s North County has influenced and shaped the person I am today,” she says.

An innate appreciation of home design and architecture led her early on to work in interior design, a passion she shares with her mother, a Del Mar designer and project manager. After working with an architecture firm and exploring drafting, Taylor’s affinity for residential design and landscaping led her to a career in real estate. Taylor credits her aunt, a seasoned and respected real estate professional in Northern California, as an inspirational mentor.

Taylor brings to her real estate career several other talents she has developed over the years, particularly technology-based marketing. She developed those skills as a media coordinator and content editor for several internationally renowned jazz musicians, giving her the opportunity to collaborate with a broad cross-section of personalities and individual aspirations.

This fusion of her ability to work with varied personalities and enthusiasm for spaces is always a part of Taylor’s work ethic and diligence with clients. Compassionate and loyal, Taylor prides herself as being an excellent listener and observer. She believes that the best relations are those built upon clarity, trust and dedication. Friends say she’s a born negotiator with an ability to envision the perspectives and desires of others. She is comprehensive problem solver and a solution-oriented person.

A recent month in Europe solidified an admiration of architecture and communities. Taylor thrives while experiencing other cultures, has a love of nature, animals, landscapes, homes . . . and knowledge. In her free time you might find her riding a horse, hiking, gardening, volunteering at a local animal shelter or researching just about anything she finds interesting.

Community Service DayWindermere Homes & Estates is reaching out to Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego to volunteer time and give much needed donations to help families with children who are being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions. Windermere’s real estate agents, brokers, clients and staff have been donating essential items to help these families in all of their 13 offices throughout Southern California.

On June 3rd, Windermere will be wrapping up their fundraiser/donation drive and volunteering their time at the Ronald McDonald House. Our owners, agents and employees will volunteer their time to prep, serve and clean-up breakfast and lunch, as well as, volunteering their services for craft time and an ice cream social. Windermere volunteers also made blankets and collected items for Ronald McDonald House Charites of San Diego to give to guests during their stay.
Every year Windermere Homes & Estates closes their office to volunteer and help make a positive difference in our community. This is a part of Windermere’s company-wide Community Service Day event in which all 300 offices and 7,000 agents will spend the day giving back to local communities. Windermere offices from Seattle to SoCal will donate more than 55,000 hours of service during this year’s event. “Windermere’s Community Service Day started in 1984 with my dad, John Jacobi, a handful of agents, and a run-down chain-link fence at an elementary school that needed some TLC,” said company president, OB Jacobi. “Thirty-two years and more than 1.2 million hours of community service later, we’ve continued this tradition through neighborhood-enhancing projects in the areas where our Windermere teams live, work, and play.”

Every time a Windermere sales associate sells a home, they donate a portion of their commission to the Windermere Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 1989. Contributions from Windermere agents combined with contributions from Windermere employees and public supporters have allowed the Windermere Foundation to distribute over two million dollars annually in recent years to non-profit agencies dedicated to helping the local community.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego provides a “home away from home” for families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals. Thanks to an active volunteer program and generous community support, each year approximately:

• 1,400 families reside with us during their child’s hospitalization
• 11,000 additional people use our Family Care Center, coming for meals, computer access, and other essential resources
• 130,000 meals are served free of charge to family members with hospital identification
• 200 siblings of hospitalized children take part in education and enrichment programs, including the School Away from School and Learn & Play Center

Windermere Homes & Estates Recognized as Fastest Growing Real Estate Brokerage in California.
Residential real estate brokerage continues to expand in Southern California communities of Coachella Valley, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino

San Diego – May 11, 2016 – Windermere Homes & Estates (WHE) tops the First Tuesday Journal ranking of Fastest Growing Real Estate Brokerage in California. The recognition places the firm first in growth among 60 of the state’s largest brokerages, with an increase of 89 percent from December 2014 to December 2015.

“We are proud to achieve the status as the fastest growing real estate brokerage in California,” said Windermere Homes & Estates Co-owner Rich Johnson. “We owe our success to our agents, staff, and affiliates, as well as our clients that come back to Windermere time after time to buy or sell a home in Southern California.”

The First Tuesday Journal reports that, unlike WHE, most of the state’s major brokers saw only marginal changes in their employment of additional sales agents. In 2015, WHE experienced a surge in hiring, adding 149 agents to its team for a total of 317 at the end of 2015. Today, the brokerage has surpassed the 350 agent count mark, and continues to grow.

This accomplishment is particularly notable because of the recession set-backs felt in real estate. “Licensees who remain full-time real estate service providers today are the ones who have successfully adjusted with a bit of talent and perseverance,” the article states.

The recession hit the real estate-related industries hard, with employment numbers catching up to pre-recession numbers in California at the end of 2014, according to First Tuesday.  Founded by Brian Gooding and Rich Johnson, Windermere Homes and Estates has opened nine offices in San Diego County in just two years. Within the past seven months the company expanded into the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties with new offices in Coachella Valley, Big Bear, and Temecula.

The company is the fourth largest residential real estate brokerage in San Diego.  “Our agents are among the very best in California. Their commitment to clients and the communities we serve is reflected in significant growth and a reputation for quality customer service. It is rewarding to see how our company is having a positive impact on the communities where we do business,” said Gooding.

Windermere Homes & Estates has continued plans to grow in all of its locations. For more information, please contact Brian Gooding at or 760-585-8868, or Rich Johnson at or 760-585-8868.
