Teresa Johnson Joins Windermere Homes & Estates

As the proud mother of two children and seven grandchildren, Teresa Johnson was born and raised in the Southeast region of the country on a farm in Arkansas.

Growing up, it was instilled in Teresa to work hard while cultivating the resources around her. In doing so, Teresa turned a hobby into a career, baking her way into a full time career in the restaurant industry.

Teresa shifted from 8 years in mortgage loan processing to full time baker upon her arrival in San Diego. With wonderful new opportunities in Southern California, Teresa ventured into the restaurant industry and opened several restaurants and bakeries where she was able to create several different bread recipes, launching a successful career spanning over 35 years.

Teresa started several businesses revolving around this new found interest, opening The Alpine Break Basket Restaurant & Bakery, The Grove Pastry Shop, Artistic Wedding Cakes by the Grove, and Teresa’s Baking Co., which were all highly regarded, successful businesses.

With deep roots and history in the East County, Teresa learned about giving back and supporting local communities. While serving on boards of several non-profit organizations, Teresa has been very active in the implementation and improvement of bettering lives of countless others. Over time, Teresa has come to love and appreciate a greater service to others, leading her into the real estate world, which continually offers a service that goes far beyond the transaction.

This new found path has brought Teresa into an exciting new career that is not only rewarding, but speaks to the passion and drive felt by all agents alike. Providing clients with the premium service they so deserve, Teresa is happy to join the Windermere Homes & Estates brand, which reflects these same core values and interests.
