Chris was born and raised in Hackettstown, New Jersey. A small town in the northwest rolling hills, but well known as the home of your favorite candy maker, M&M Mars! He grew up in a family of six to include his parents, Carol and Neil; his two older brothers, Bob & Tim, and his younger sister, Laurie.
After high school, Chris followed in his brother’s footsteps and joined the United States Marine Corps. Having served 30 years all over the world to include several combat deployments, his primary job was a Radio Technician. After approximately 14 years, Chris moved to middle level management and then for his final 9 years moved on to executive level management. Reaching the pinnacle of his career and being promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major, Chris was the enlisted advisor to the Commanding Officer of several units. He was responsible for the morale, discipline, pay, welfare, administration, and professional military education of all enlisted Marines in the unit. He also served as a mentor to junior officers and senior staff non-commissioned officers.
Besides taking great pride in being a Marine, Music has been his life’s passion and Chris has been playing the drums since the age of 10. To this day, he can be found in the local club scene playing in about 5 different bands. His local tour schedule can be found at www.chrisslattery.com.
Chris’ final tour in the Corps landed him back in Southern California, a location he has been stationed at several times. He loves the atmosphere and chose Temecula as his retirement home to share with my teenage daughters, Payton & Sabre.
Having purchased his first house through a Windermere agent, Ryan Street, also a fellow Marine with whom Chris has had the pleasure of serving, it was then that he decided he wanted to provide the same level of professionalism and service to others that are looking for an easy experience with such a monumental milestone.
With his background in management and retaining the Marine Corps core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, coupled with a strong sense of integrity, Chris believes the foundation has been laid to put Southern California’s buying and selling population first & foremost in their real estate needs.
