Windermere Homes & Estates Welcomes JoAnn Corich to its Escondido Office

Born and raised in San Diego, JoAnn’s  mother and father returned to San Diego when he retired from the Navy as a naval aviator. She grew up a few blocks from the zoo and Balboa Park. When she was in high school they moved to La Mesa, located in East San Diego County. JoAnn graduated from Helix High and continued her business education in San Diego, including getting her real estate license in 1984. Her first real estate office was with ERA in La Mesa.

In 1991 JoAnn married John and moved to Escondido, where she accepted a position with ERA Property Movers. Her relationship with ERA turned out to be extremely rewarding. In 2005 she accepted an opportunity with a very close friend to assist in a start-up real estate company. In 2013 JoAnn returned to ERA Property Movers because it offered her and her clients more national exposure and technical support.

For over 33 years JoAnn has been recognized for quality service, knowledge and commitment to her clients. During that time she has received many national awards and accolades. Among those awards are numerous Top Listing achievements, Top Selling achievements and the most important one is from ERA, the Jim Jackson Memorial Agent Award Finalist, 1st in Customer Satisfaction. It meant that JoAnn was one of the top 5 real estate agents internationally to receive this coveted award. Service and helping her clients is what JoAnn’s job is all about.  Her mission statement says it all.

“SUCCESS is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it”

In 2011, JoAnn was nominated for the North County Top Agent People’s Award. This she feels says it all. She looks out for her client before she looks out for herself.

“JoAnn has a wealth of knowledge.  Her experience is vast and she knows the business like no other.  We feel fortunate that she has made the change to Windermere, and we’re delighted that she’s chosen to work with us in our new Escondido location,” says Rich Johnson, co-owner of Windermere Homes & Estates.

JoAnn and John and have a combined family of one daughter, 3 sons, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Their extended family includes 2 Scottish Terriers, Penny and Molly. For many, many years they’ve enjoyed playing golf. Gardening is one of JoAnn’s greatest pleasures. Seeing and enjoying the fruit and flowers gives her a great deal of joy. They love to travel and visit their family, which is scattered in California, Colorado and Arizona. They look forward to their time with them. JoAnn and John just attended a Boy Scout award ceremony where their grandson received his Eagle badge.
