Windermere Homes & Estates Announces Complete Independence For SD County Escrow!
As many of you may have known, Windermere Homes & Estates (WHE) has had the pleasure of having its own in-house escrow service, known as SD County Escrow. What’s new and exciting about SD County Escrow are all the changes that have been progressing throughout the last year.
One key factor that WHE is most excited to announce is that SD County Escrow is now functioning completely independent! What’s so great about this is that we are no longer sharing escrow officers and have exclusive “SD County” officers working solely with Windermere agents. Not only do Windermere agents have exclusive rights to their own in-house escrow service, but SD County is now scouting out new talent to join its team of officers.
While some of SD County’s familiar face Vicki Foreman is still on the team, SD County is excited to announce some newer members like Elia Kovar, Dean McGill and Glennis Pleysier. With the help of SD County’s newest team members, the expanding escrow company will have an even stronger foothold in servicing Windermere’s rapidly growing team of agents.
Get To Know Our New Members
Elia Kovar, previous manager of Westar Escrow, believes her past experiences have helped her to reach the level of achievement she has accomplished today. Elia’s portfolio of experience has allowed her to work in the customer service department of a major title company, 5 years as an admin and agent recruiter for Century 21, plus an active member of the California Escrow Association (CEA). Elias commitment to excellent service has given her a version of life that she commonly refers to as the “American Dream”. Elia comes to SD County Escrow with years of experience and a mission to give her customers the best possible service 24/7. Elia will act as SDCE’s Operations Manager and escrow officer, operating out of Windermere’s Aviara/Carlsbad office.
Dean McGill joins SD County Escrow bringing experience in the residential title and escrow business. As an entrepreneur who has owned and operated a multi-branch independent escrow company, Dean expanded to 3 offices and 23 employees over a 5 year period. Deans experience in title operations has given him the chance to manage 4 escrow offices and over 40 employees, setting the escrow standards for Chicago Title. As an active member of organizations such as San Diego Escrow Association and California Escrow Association, Dean keeps his finger on the pulse of current rules, regulations and changes happening in his field of expertise.
Glennis Pleysier may be newer to SD County Escrow, but she’s certainly no rookie when it comes to the real estate industry! As SD County’s Escrow Account Executive, Glennis brings decades of experience and expertise to the team, using history as realtor, admin and transaction coordinator to Windermere Homes & Estates. Glennis’ collective experience in the field is comparable to that of two agents combined, allowing her to work as a triple threat both in and out of the office. In preparation for even more changes to come as of February 1, 2018, Glennis welcomes SD County’s newest team members and also seeks to provide exceptional service to all Windermere agents. With her participation, Glennis is able to provide key communication between both escrow officers and WHE agents.
Changes To Begin February 1, 2018
Starting February 1, 2018 Dean and Elia will be overseeing all operations involving SD County Escrow. Brian Gooding, co-owner of Windermere Homes & Estates stated, “We are ecstatic to have such amazing contributors to our escrow branch! As we are now able to offer this exclusive service to our agents, they can be assured that each transaction will be the sole focus of that escrow officer, working exclusively for SD County and Windermere Homes & Estates. All services offered in-house to our agents will help to build company morale and support the brand as a whole. I am anxious to see how this will progress us as a company through the years to come!”
With these exciting changes on the horizon, WHE gears up for new escrow officers, talented team members, and an overall amazing collaboration between the office and its exclusive in-house service. With the convenience of having multiple officers and branches on both the inland corridor and the coastal region, Windermere is thrilled to bring a higher level of service to its agents and offices.
