Raised on a small cattle ranch in the heart of the Gold Rush Country near Angels Camp, Jeff Weber began his thriving career as an appraiser and loan officer for a small bank in 1971. After transferring to an office in Visalia in late 1977, Jeff realized how much he missed Escondido and many of the friends that he had made there. Through much thought and deliberation, Jeff decided to get his Real Estate license and return to Escondido. With some encouragement from friends, Jeff pursued his CA Realtor’s license and came back to Escondido in the spring of 1979, working as a local Realtor ever since.
Throughout that time Jeff has helped many people with their Real Estate needs, commonly quoting, “Taking care of your business is MY business.”
Jeff’s history has allowed him to work as an appraiser and loan officer from 1972-1979. With experience in loan origination for agricultural businesses in San Diego County, Jeff was able to gain in depth knowledge of San Diego. As a specialist in agricultural properties and vacant land, Jeff assists developers, attorneys, appraisers and property owners regarding land use and valuation in addition to sales activity.
As an active member of the Escondido Planning Commission, Jeff has served as the Chairman for the past 6 years. Jeff has also received several awards and recognitions throughout his career as a Realtor, ranking in the top 5% of all agents in his company and consistently being recognized as a top producer for 7 years straight as an agent. Now working with his son, Giovanni Ruiz, Jeff is proud of his sons’ early success in Real Estate and excited for their growing team to have the opportunity to be associated with Windermere Homes and Estates.
