As a San Francisco native, Lisa has spent most of her life in Northern California, moving from Walnut Creek South to San Diego. Lisa’s history in escrow began in Pleasanton where she pursued a career as an Escrow Officer. As she moved up the ranks in her first job, Lisa found herself being promoted within her first three months of employment, receiving recognition and excellent ratings for both her 3rd and 6th month reviews.
Lisa continued her career in escrow working as an assistant. With a full knowledge of opening and closing escrows, Lisa worked with each client making sure all paperwork is completed correctly while also performing daily Trust accounting. As she kept current on all training, laws, rules and regulations, Lisa learned and understood all aspects of the escrow process.
When Lisa’s daughter and her husband were expecting their first baby, Lisa and her husband moved to San Diego to be closer to their first grandchild. Since both her daughter and her son in law were active military, and he was sent to the Middle East only a few months after their daughter was born. Naturally, Lisa and her husband volunteered to be caretakers for the baby in the event that their daughter would be deployed as well.
Once settled, Lisa continued working in escrow as assistant for Chicago Title. Lisa’s diverse experience of over 15 years in escrow gives her a holistic and thorough knowledge of all escrow transactions. Lisa is able to manage closing caseloads and coordinate closings with lenders, agents, buyers and sellers, including all other parties. With a solid understanding of reconciling escrow files, Lisa is able to smoothly work through an escrow from opening to closing.
“There is nothing more rewarding than caring for family. That is why I love escrow. I can care for all the families who are in escrow, moving from their current home to a new home, and ensure all that background paperwork is never a bump in that road.”
