Windermere Homes & Estates Welcomes Mary Green to the Team!

Mary was raised in the San Fernando Valley where her father was a Broker for 30 years. When she was twenty years old a good friend suggested she get a job with an escrow company and it turned out to be a perfect fit.

Mary knew, however, that when she retired it would be to pursue a career in real estate.   She took a year off then dug in to tackle a new area of the same industry, an industry she’s known for 40 years.

As she looks back over her career in escrow the most enjoyable times were working with first time home buyers.  Mary says it was really a delight to walk them through the transaction.

Her experience in escrow spans several types of transactions and different economic conditions.  Mary believes this experience uniquely qualifies her to assist and protect her clients’ best interests, with the ability to foresee and avoid problems and issues. She sees the big picture of a transaction from beginning to end and is able to work with other agents, escrow, lenders and other companies associated with a real estate transaction.

“Mary’s history in escrow is a gift. Frankly when you know the obstacles that can happen in a closing you can better plan to avoid them. That’s a win for everybody. That’s why not only clients, but other agents as well, enjoy working with her again and again. And we couldn’t be happier that she chose to work in our Escondido office,” says Rich Johnson, co-owner of Windermere Homes & Estates.
