Windermere Homes & Estates Proudly Welcomes Suzanne Drace!

Suzanne Drace, Windermere Homes & EstatesBorn and raised in San Diego, Suzanne Drace grew up next to the ocean. Growing up near the local canyons, lagoons, and hiking trails made her appreciate and respect nature early on in life. The hustle and bustle of beach life in a beach town equaled good coffee shops such as the old Pannikin in Flower Hill Mall, plus Roberto’s and Bellissario’s restaurants. Suzanne found herself enthralled in the true essence of San Diego lifestyle, spending most of her free time at the beach, playing soccer, and working.

While Suzanne had early aspirations to be a family counselor, she found herself attaining her Bachelor’s degree, spending the next 6 years teaching high school history. After years of her flourishing career as a teacher, Suzanne decided to make a change and break into the Real Estate industry. Once licensed in 2001, Suzanne joined her mother-in-law at her boutique luxury Real Estate company in Sonoma. Suzanne was instantly put to work to manage the office and staff,  knowing that she could easily take over when her mother-in-law decided to retire in the future.

Suzanne’s history in Real Estate has given her the distinct opportunity to function as a co-owner and manager of two offices in Sonoma County with over 100 agents. Throughout her career, Suzanne has represented buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions, and has experience in developing marketing collateral and going through the process of a franchise sale and purchase of two real estate companies. Suzanne was also very involved in her local association NorBAR, was the 2010 Wine Country Chapter (WCR) President and Realtor of the Year in 2011. On top of her recognitions, Suzanne also enjoyed being part of the Santa Rosa Rotary, Leadership Santa Rosa, and was a Board Member for Tomorrow’s Leaders Today, a teen leadership group.

As a current member of the NSDCAR District Council, Suzanne now joins Windermere Homes & Estate’s newest office found in Escondido. With areas of expertise in managing, coaching, training and recruiting, Suzanne looks forward to putting her skills to the test for her clients.

Suzanne finds that her innate ability to read others, coupled with her keen listening skills, allow her to provide the very best in care and customer service to each and every one of the clients she meets.

“Suzanne loves helping people and it’s clear she has a gift for it as well. Coaching comes naturally to her and she listens when people talk. This talent is crucial when managing an office.  Both agents and staff feel they have her ear, and we’re happy that she chose to work with us in our Escondido location,” says Rich Johnson, co-owner of Windermere Homes & Estates.
